I recently enjoyed a great dinner at a local Mexican
restaurant called Don Pepe. When I arrived I was greeted by the manager and waited for a table. The manger was very personable and friendly that made me feel welcomed. Once I was seated my waiter brought chips, white chip dip, and fresh salsa accompanied with my drink. The waiter was also very friendly and attentive since I never once waited for a refill. I ordered the "pollo loco" or "crazy chicken" that included grilled marinated chicken, rice, re-fried beans, and soft tortillas. My meal was brought to me after only waiting fifteen minutes! The food was hot, very authentic, and fresh. My meal cost $8.00 for a large dinner portion that was worth the price.
I have visited all three locations of Don Pepe and often enjoy their food more than once a week. The service is great and all the waiters make you feel at home. Don Pepe is not only the best Mexican food restaurant in the Richmond area, but possibly the best local restaurant of all. I thoroughly recommend a visit to Don Pepe for a wonderful lunch or dinner and for great service.

They also have dollar Monday nights when tacos, enchiladas, and quesadillas are only $1 as well as margarita Wednesdays.
